As a member of Krida Legal’s Gaming Team, Ria provides strategic legal support to various domestic and international clients of the Firm operating in the gaming industry. This includes advising on regulatory compliance, drafting end-user agreements, providing legal opinions, drafting legal representations, notices, and negotiating agreements. Ria also lends her support to the Firm’s Transactions Team. Enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2015, Ria is an alumnus of Amity Law School, Noida (BBA LL.B. (Hons.)) and of Mayo College Girls School, Ajmer.
Ria holds prior experience of assisting leading law firms as well as companies through in-house roles. As part of her experience, Ria, as a member of a leading TMT law firm’s gaming team, assisted a prominent Indian gaming company in its day-to-day legal operations, media and IP contracts, licensing/assignment, employment matters, amongst others. In addition, over the years, Ria has acquired extensive and diverse experience in domestic and cross-border corporate advisory, disputes strategy, international arbitration, real estate diligence, legislative drafting, amongst others.
Outside of her profession, Ria enjoys swimming and indoor games, and loves spending her time reading, travelling and learning about sports, art and culture.
