Nachiket is a qualified sports and gaming lawyer at Krida Legal. He is a registered advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Gujarat. He is a 2017 graduate of the Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar and a 2012 graduate of St. Xavier’s High School, Surat.
He is a member of the Gaming team at Krida Legal, where he is involved in a variety of assignments such as providing legal opinions to a diverse clientele, drafting legal representations, notices, agreements. He also appears in pending matters before various fora including the Hon’ble Delhi High Court, arbitral tribunals, anti-doping tribunals, commissions etc.
Nachiket has prior experience of being a commercial litigation and alternative disputes resolution advocate, having appeared in matters regularly before courts of law such as the Hon’ble Gujarat High Court, the Hon’ble Bombay High Court, the Hon’ble Karnataka High Court and tribunals such as the Hon’ble APTEL, Hon’ble GERC and private arbitral tribunals over a period of 4 years.
Prior to joining Krida Legal, Nachiket was a member of the Commercial Litigation and Arbitration Team at a leading law firm in Mumbai. He was involved in assisting and advising clients in strategizing commercial litigation and arbitration matters as well as matters pertaining to media and entertainment law. He has also assisted and advised clients in relation to disputes arising out of loan agreements, share purchase agreements, concession agreements, real estate transactions and co-production agreements.
Nachiket is a sports afficionado, and regularly plays basketball. He captained his high school and university basketball teams and represented his city and alma mater at various competitions. He is an ardent fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and also follows FC Barcelona. His other hobbies include listening to music, reading and watching movies.
