Daisy is a graduate from National Law University Assam and has been a Sports Lawyer for over 3 years in the career span of 5 years since her graduation. She has been a litigating lawyer in the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court amongst other courts of Delhi advocating for various causes including fair and transparent sports administration, women rights, intellectual property rights, media and entertainment rights etc. She has a remarkable experience working for and affinity with the circle of office bearers and sports enthusiasts in various sports bodies both at national as well as state level.
Recently, she had been appointed by HMJ L Nageswara Rao, Retired Supreme Court Judge, along with our Founder Mr. Vidushpat Singhania and Associate Mr. Kushagra Jain to assist him in amending the Constitution of Indian Olympic Association and conducting their Executive Committee-2022 elections thereof. Prior to this event, she had also assisted in conducting elections of several sports federations/associations both at the national and state level.
She has not only advised and handled matters relating to the administration of the sports bodies but also has represented numerous athletes in anti-doping matters.
To her credentials, she has a post graduate diploma in Media Laws from NALSAR, Diploma in Copyright Laws in the Music Business from Berklee College of Music.
Apart from her academic interests, she is also an inimitable music fanatic and a classically trained vocalist herself. Along with her musical talent, she has also played volleyball throughout her school-life at state and national level tournaments.
